The bowl head hanging plate is a kind of electrical hardware, which is mainly used to connect the suspension wire clamp and the insulator string, and plays the role of hanging the insulator string and the suspension wire clamp.
The bowl head hanging plate is a connecting piece composed of a cap socket and a double-piece hanging plate. According to the structure and use conditions, it is divided into a single-joint bowl head hanging plate, a double-joint bowl head hanging plate (WS type), and a drum (W type) bowl head hanging plate. It is used to connect the upper steel cap and the lower steel foot of the suspension insulator respectively. When assembling a single string of suspension insulators in series with a suspension wire clamp, a shorter single-joint bowl head hanging plate (W-7A type) is selected to shorten the length of the insulator string. When assembling a single string of tension insulators, a long-sized single-joint bowl head hanging plate (W-7B type) is selected to avoid the jumper of the tension wire clamp from colliding with the porcelain skirt of the insulator; when the long-sized single-joint bowl head hanging plate still cannot meet the requirements, a shorter single-joint bowl head hanging plate should be selected, and then a hanging plate should be installed to extend the distance
